Anavar is a powerful fat burning steroid that many people take to lose significant amounts of weight, in the form of fat. One of the reasons why anavar is so popular is because it’s side effects are very mild, compared to other anabolic steroids.
Thus anavar is very much considered a very ‘safe’ steroid by men and women. In fact, some would class anavar as one of the safest steroids ever created.
However, that’s not to say that some interactions or side effects are possible when taking anavar. In this article I’m going to outline some negative reactions you might experience on anavar, so you can make an educated decision of whether the pros outweigh the cons when taking this cutting steroid.
Note: Some anavar users may not actually experience any side effects at all. However some of the side effects listed below might be experienced by sensitive individuals.
Anavar Side Effects
ALL steroids will shut down testosterone levels to different extents. How much you’ll be shut you down will vary, depending on which steroid you take.
Anavar’s one of the best steroids for keeping your natural testosterone levels as high as possible after a cycle. However, anavar still has the potential to reduce your male hormones production…even if it is to a small (unnoticeable) degree.
Anavar acne/hair loss
Anavar does spike DHT levels which can contribute to acne and hair loss. The reason why acne can occur on anavar is because DHT causes your skin to become more oily.
However, if you’re not genetically predisposed to have bad acne i.e. you’ve never had severe cases of it, then you’re not likely to get acne on anavar.
And equally, if it’s not in your DNA to lose your hair…anavar won’t suddenly cause your hair to fall out.
It’s just if you’re destined to lose your hair in the near future, anavar may accelerate this process of balding.
…Again this is nothing to worry about if you’ve got a normal/good head of hair. And if you don’t, the chances are you won’t care about losing a little more anyway!
Anavar Side Effects for Women
So many women use anavar today, which is why one of its nicknames is – ‘the Girl steroid’. This is because no other steroid produces such mild side effects in females.
Many women who are thinking of taking steroids are afraid of their bodies changing and eventually looking like a man. In scientifical terms this is called virilization – when a woman starts to develop manly features.
Anavar is one of the best steroids to take if you’re determined to burn fat and keep your feminine beauty at the same time.
However, it IS possible for anavar to cause virilization if super high doses are taken and you use the steroid to excess. In this case a woman may experience a deeper voice and notice more overall body hair compared to usual.
It’s important to note however that such virilization side effects are rare in women who use moderate doses of anavar. And even if they did occur, they aren’t permanent so as soon as you stop taking anavar; your hormones will balance out and these male characteristics will disappear.
In short, anavar’s side effects are very minimal. But like with anything in life you’ll always get sensitive individuals and those who choose to overdose.
Thus it’s not 100% side effect free to every human on the planet.
Anavar is primarily used to burn significant amounts of fat; not to build muscle. However, you will build a tonne of strength on anavar.
